All of these images benefited from the use of artificial light. This may have been anything from using a simple bounced flash gun to a complete studio set of multiple lights. Whatever was needed to get the best out of the situation. The beauty of the full studio setup is the ability to shape the highlights and shadows to bring out the best in my subjects. This can be a little intimidating for some people but they soon enjoy the experience. The subjects range from family and friends to full and part-time models. When studio work is done correctly, you can't tell who the professionals are from the terrified amateurs.
