Some people simply shine when you point a camera at them, sadly they are a very small minority. For most subjects, a studio shoot can be a little intimidating. It is also a fact that to get the best out of people they need to be relaxed. Only then will those natural smiles and the real you come through in the images. To help with those pre-shoot nerves, we will have a zoom call or telephone chat to get to know each other, discuss what style you wish to achieve, talk about clothing options, and such. We do not operate a high-density shooting schedule and on the day you will have time to relax and take refreshments before the shoot while we confirm your thoughts and expectations. Once you're ready the fun can begin. Throughout the experience, you will be able to review the images and make adjustments to posing and styling.

From each hour of shooting time, we would expect to capture 75 - 100 images. This sounds a bit excessive but for every pose, we will catch several shots. You will be amazed at the subtle yet endless changes in facial expression. Some will stand out as special and those are the images we are looking for. You will recognise them once you see them.

After the shoot, usually within a few days, we will prepare an online proofing gallery of your best photographs. From there you can select those images that you would like to undergo post-production in order to make them and you look your very best. Once your selections are complete it will take another couple of days to finalise your chosen images. At this point, you will be sent two sets of digital images, one full size and one for social media use. You will also receive a print of each image on A5 paper.
