Wedding shoots are not really part of our normal activities. The idea of dealing with Bridezilla makes the blood run cold. However, as a good friend was getting married and hadn't booked a photographer this was done by way of a wedding gift. It was a very long day for two photographers, starting at the respective homes of the two grooms (yes it was a same-sex wedding) capturing the preparations, the nerves, and the excitement. Then on to the ceremony followed by the reception before undertaking the formal group wedding shots along with some informal whacky ones. Then back to the evening venue to record the mayhem of kids going crazy and a cabaret of drag queens. It was a very unusual day indeed but so rewarding and full of fun.
